Dear America – You Are Wrong – Love Lieberman

This morning on CNN Joe said that the Democratic Party has been taken over by people so “far from the mainstream of American life”. So far from the mainstream of American life? Why? Because 52% of the Connecticut voters along with countless people around the country supported Ned Lamont and one of his biggest advantages was opposition to the War in Iraq? Perhaps Joe should spend less time making false claims of his website being hacked and doing nasty attacks against his oppenent and more time reading the news:

Sixty percent of Americans oppose the U.S. war in Iraq, the highest number since polling on the subject began with the commencement of the war in March 2003, according to poll results and trends released Wednesday.

And a majority of poll respondents said they would support the withdrawal of at least some U.S. troops by the end of the year, according to results from the Opinion Research Corporation poll conducted last week on behalf of CNN. The corporation polled 1,047 adult Americans by telephone.

So Joe – 60% of Americans are now “far from the mainstream of American Life” as you put it.

The fact is there is one person being discussed here that is out of touch with America and that person is Joe Lieberman. He is not alone though. Yesterday we saw three incumbents loose in primaries around the country. America is a country by the people for the people, but lately we moved to being a country by the establishment for the establishment. The people spoke up yesterday, not only in Connecticut but also in Georgia and Michigan and said they were taking their country back.

Welcome to the 2006 elections – the revolution. We will take back our country from those who are only there for their own interests and not the interest of the people they are suppose to represent.

And one final thing – I believe that there was more people voting against Lieberman yesterday then were actually voting for Lamont. They noticed Joe attacking his own party over the war in front of the camera, in print and on the floor of Senate and they sent Joe a message – we are tired of it. Joe needs to take his medicine and go home. His actions from here on out are only meant to hurt the Democratic Party because the Democratic Party stood strong against his attacks. He is the sorest loser in the history of politics.
