The Blame Game Starts

Republicans have jumped into the blame game with lightning speed following the failure of the bailout bill. Ed Henry has a good run down of the talking points here:

60% of Democrats voted for it, while 67% of the Republicans voted against it. It's interesting that the Republicans are saying it was due to a partisan speech by Nancy Pelosi. Ed Henry says he went through a transcript of the speech and can't find anything partisan. You also got the McCain campaign blaming Obama for "phoning it in", even though that's exactly what McCain did.

Reaching across party lines? The Republicans are appearing very incapable of doing just that.
