A daughter of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia was arrested Monday night in Wheaton and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and child endangerment, Wheaton Deputy Police Chief Thomas Meloni said.
Ann S. Banaszewski, 45, was stopped about 7:25 p.m. in a 1996 Ford Econoline van near Gamon Road and Longfellow Drive after a citizen reported a possible drunken driver was at the McDonald's restaurant near there, Meloni said.
Three of Banaszewski's "small children" were in the van with her at the time, leading to the child endangerment charge, Meloni said. He would not disclose their ages. Meloni would also not disclose details of her alleged intoxication, but said she submitted to a field sobriety test, though he could not disclose its outcome.
So this is family values - getting drunk and driving around with the kids? I wonder how Scalia feels about this?
It used to be that this would have been a "non story", but in today's climate it is worth pointing out. If this happened to anyone on the left then Dobson along with all the wingnuts would be calling stricter drunk driving laws.

I dated adrunk who is a laywer for abused childeren and she would drink and go pick up her sons from boyscouts ,her friend was alway asking for three-ways and four-ways . I first thought it was a test to see what kind of a person I was, but then it happened every time we were together. Then her friend would pick up guys and have sex in the parking lot. Then they came back and the guy asked me if I whated to do a 4-way ,that is what she asked him in the parking lot , I said no way I like the laywer and your not touching her. But I guess the laywer want to because she didnt say anything -sick , her friend was about 275.lbs amd the laywer 115.lbs two weeks later I was in the hospital with a lung deciese cuased buy her filthy hot tube and the county paid my medical bills instead of the home owner.I figgerd it out when I was in the hospital - I eposed my self to someones filthy life-style and it omost killed me
