Aravosis is all over this story. He has more posts to read here, here and here. We can not sit by and let this happen to our soldiers. It is bad enough they were sent into a war based on lies, but then to treat them like this after they get injured there is beyond comprehension. Everyone is urged to call their congressman and senators and ask them if they will address this national disgrace.

The entire VA health care system needs to be overhauled. We have a committee on veterans affairs that obviously has their heads up their butts also. The VA health care system has become overrun with non service connected former soldiers demanding health care. I cannot imagine going back to an employer I had 40 years ago and tell them I worked for them for 2 years so they should provide my health care. The newly injured are just finding out what past injured soldiers have been dealing with for decades. Too many $$$'s are going to the war in Iraq instead of going to care for those who have served our country and were injured in the line of duty.
