It really sounds like someone was trying to avoid getting in trouble with the lies he told Senate under oath. He spun his excuses every which way but the truth. Aravosis has a full run down of the highlights.
We also have CREW now calling for a special prosecutor to investigate Gonzales and the entire U.S.A. debacle. I believe this is an excellent idea. If our justice is corrupt then our nation is gone.
