I bet old Mitch McConnell is having a shit fit now:
Eight men say they either had sex with Sen. Larry Craig or were targets of sexual advances by the Idaho Republican at various times during his political career, a newspaper reported Sunday.
One of the men is the former escort whose allegations disgraced the Rev. Ted Haggard, former president of the National Association of Evangelicals, the Idaho Statesman reported.
The newspaper identified four men and reported details of the encounters they say involved Craig. It also reported the accounts of four other men who did not agree to be identified but who described sexual advances or encounters involving the conservative Republican.
Of course to the GOP they will publicly say this is a witch hunt. Eight random guys got together and said "hey - let's say bad things about Larry Craig". Isn't that the way it always goes?

Can I ask a question here? Is being gay against the law? Believe me, conservatives think Larry Craig is a disgrace, not because he's gay, but because he won't own up to the actual laws he broke and leave the party. The stories of these eight men is a mute point. Not to mention, it's also crappy journalism since the newspaper has no evidence that Larry Craig actually did approach any of these men. They said they printed the story because they found no evidence that contradicts these stories...so are we to believe that if someone comes forward and says they were sexually approached by, say, Barack Obama, the story would be legitimate to print because there's nothing to contradict such claims. Do you see how easily such journalistic practices could blow up on any politician? Unless these eight men are accusing Senator Craig of a crime, this article has no other purpose than to smear a politician. This is really pathetic.
I see some right winger is trying to defuse the situation with a typical straw man. Did anyone say being gay was against the law?
I wonder if getting a blow job is against the law too. Amazing how that lead to impeachment hearings. It looks like anonymous is one of Larry's boyfriends!
I see that my argument is lost on you, and that because of that, you simply drop down and start trying to insult me. I want Larry Craig to leave the party, not because he's gay, but because he broke the law and was found guilty. I think that our leaders should be held to that high of a standard. Somewhat like I believe that committing perjury is grounds for a leader to leave office, regardless of how the trial may have come about. How can you have such selective disregard for our nation's laws? Again, I think that you need to re-read my post and not try to twist my words to fit your prejudice of my political leanings. What would you say if this same story came out concerning Obama or Edwards? I would say that it's crappy journalism. That was my point...
