That "joke" was told by John McCain in 1998. Perhaps Shuster should have been a little nastier, then he could be a front runner to be President. Or maybe this is a look into what we would have with a McCain Presidency - making lesbian jokes and picking on children.

Hillary Clinton never addressed this joke because there may be some truth to the Hillary clinton as a lesbian . I would like to see how she addresses now that it is in the open?

He was saying that Hillary is a lesbian who had an affair with Janet Reno.
He was also saying that Chelsea Clinton was an ugly girl.
I would guess Hillary did not make a big deal about this, whether she is indeed lesbian or not,
because she was protecting her daughter.
What a hurtful joke to make at Chelsea's expense - and she was only a kid then.
But most certainly a hurtful joke to hear about your own daughter.
It wouldn't be worth putting a bad joke told by a Senator into the public eye when it would only cause your daughter pain -- especially when she was going through that gawky adolescent stage.

Chelsea can't help how she looks! The jokes should stay focused at Hillary herself instead of taking it out on her daughter.(that's just the mom in me) But it did make me laugh!
