Awesome! Dodd has a pretty loyal base, even though he didn't do that great in his bid for the White House. Maybe in return Obama will endorse Dodd for Majority Leader next year.

Dodd Vows To Fight FISA
Take note Harry Reid -this is how leadership should look.
Chris Dodd will once again do everything he can to block the flawed FISA bill. Tim Tagaris has all the details. I really like the sound of "Majority Leader Dodd".
No! Thank You Senator Dodd
Chris Dodd posted a video on YouTube thanking the netroots for supporting him yesterday. Chris Dodd is the one owed a thanks for standing up for the rule of law and shooting down the administrations abuse of that law.
If only other Democratic presidential candidates, who are in the Senate, decided to take the issue seriously enough to come off the campaign trail and fight for America.
Dodd Succeeds!
Harry Reid has pulled the FISA bill until the first of the year. It was great to see Chris Dodd stand up for the rule of law today and put an end to this pampering George Bush has received under this Democratic Congress.
It's also worth mentioning that Chris Dodd was the only presidential candidate that chose to stay off the campaign trail today and fight for this. Biden, Clinton and Obama all chose their own campaigns over our nation as a whole. They should be reminded of that.
FILIBUSTER!
Chris Dodd is standing up for the rule of law today and is going to filibuster the bill giving telecom companies immunity in illegal wiretapping. He is looking for questions to address during his time on the floor, and you can help by going here and submitting some.
It's pretty sad that the Republicans don't actually have to filibuster bills they oppose - instead Harry Reid let's them die without a fight, but when a Democrat opposes a bill he has to go through the entire ordeal of a filibuster. I guess that shows which side of the aisle Harry Reid really sits with.
A True Democratic Candidate?
I must admit that I really didn't know too much about Chris Dodd when he entered the race, and from what I did know, I had mixed feelings on. Lately he has taken the initiative on some really important actions in Senate. First he vowed to block the FISA bill because of the telecom immunity, and now he is blocking the confirmation of Mukasey because of the torture issue.
What I find most interesting, and exciting about Dodd is that he is leading these fights. Hillary and Obama seem to come late to the party. Instead of leading, they are following a 3rd tier candidate. I hope more Democrats take note of that before the primaries.
