Apparently Contessa doesn't realize that whitehouse.org is a satirical site, and her producer has never heard of whois, which tells you who the domain is registered to:

So we get an airplane and helicopter collide (other reports is that it was two airplanes) and crash today in Sharonville, Ohio - a subdivision just north of Cincinnati. The local news is taking eyewitness callers, and Channel 5 gets a doozy:

Out of the numerous callers I have listened to, this is the only person that alleged someone parachuted out of a plane. Even more interesting is how he is saying that the person appeared to be Middle Eastern.

It is too early to call "Frank" a liar, but I am very suspicious of this account. I will keep updating this as more news becomes available.

UPDATE:

There was no Middle Easterner involved. A total of three people died in this sad accident. Someone was trying to get their 15 minutes of fame by fabricating a story from this tragedy (which I figured from the beginning). Hopefully the news media will stop taking callers live during such stories.

There is a big discussion going on here in Ohio right now. At the center of the discussion is pending legislation called Kristin's Law. This new law will require sexual predators to have green license plates on their vehicles. Last night Anderson Cooper had Kevin Coulghlin, the state senator who wrote this legislation, to discuss the impact it may have:

This may sound like some sound legislation on the outside, but will it really work?

Ten years ago Ohio started the sexual offenders registration list. To date there are almost 16,000 names on the list. This is, however, a highly inflated number.

I know of cases where 18 year old boys had sex with their 16 year old girlfriend, resulting in the girl getting pregnant. The parents of the girl get upset and file charges against the boy and in turn he gets convicted of having sex with a minor and being branded a sex offender for life. There are numerous other cases that are similar to this.

What the sexual offender list has become is a form of punishment instead of a tool of warning. Something as innocent as the incident I cite happens and judges decide to invoke the list as part of their sentence, causing serious negative consequences.

Their has been a lot of buzz the last few days over Ann Coulter calling John Edwards a "faggot". I chose not to cover it because I feel that the more publicity Coulter gets, the more fuel she has for her outlandish comments. Today I had to cave because of Keith Olbermann, who took time from his vacation last night to call in the World's Worst on Countdown.

We got Limbaugh saying that Obama owns Al Sharpton because Obama has a history of slave owners in his family and Sharpton's family was once owned by Strom. Coulter and her "faggot" comment earns her the top honor, while Gingrich showed his true hatred with this comment:

How can you have the mess we have in New Orleans, and not have had deep investigations of the federal government, the state government, the city government, and the failure of citizenship in the Ninth Ward, where 22,000 people were so uneducated and so unprepared, they literally couldn't get out of the way of a hurricane.

Nancy Pelosi gave a great speech today on the House floor, stating why Bush's surge should be stopped.

The vote is coming soon on this resolution and it will pass. It has been frustrating watching it. The Republican's talking points have been such:
