This is a remake of one of my photos I posted last week. In the original, I wasn't too happy with the sepia toning, so today I took it a bit further. I did a coffee stained paper technique for the background, then added a torn/burnt edge effect to the paper and made matted it on a black style paper. Photoshop is so much fun when you get doing these type of things. When I printed it out today, it almost looked like it was from the 1800's, and not taken last week.

This is one I took today. It's our crab apple tree out front. They are so pretty when in bloom. Ashame it doesn't last long and then they start looking like crap. At least the birds and bees love it.

Since the weather is getting nice (even with earthquakes), I been trying to get sometime to venture out and have some camera play time. Here is a cocoon I noticed on a small birch we have in the backyard. I used a set of macro filters I bought, and was very pleased with the outcome.
