Another day, another major drop in the market. The DOW sunk 445 points to close at 7,552. We’re back into ranges we haven’t seen since the mid 90’s.

7 minutes into trading and the DOW is already down almost 700. It's now below 7900 points.

Holy crap! The final numbers are still rolling in, but it looks like a loss of around 680 points, closing at under 8,600. That's the lowest in 5 years.

The DOW Jones suffers it's largest one day drop in history.

Free Falling - UPDATE Bailout Fails (and Bumped)

The market is falling quick on fears that the bailout package is going to fail.

UPDATE:

The bailout has failed in the House.

Update 2:

Final vote was 207 yea, 226 nay. By party:

Democrats: Yea- 141 Nay -94
Republicans: Yeah - 66 Nay - 132

It looks like the Republicans didn't pull their 100 votes like they were saying they would do. Was it a fast one pulled on Democrats? We should soon find out.
